1) Metal Roof Decks
ACS Commercial and Fourth Generation Products have developed and patented an innovative structural purlin system that mounts to the top chord of light gauge trusses spaced 48"oc, delivering the superior strength and pullout values of a 16 gauge member instead of the traditional 22 gauge metal deck. The purlin system also incorporates an eave girt starter/ terminator that provides for attachment of gutters, facias and soffits, facilitates the use of ice/water shields while eliminating the use of pressure treated lumber as a nailer. This system is fully engineered, offers improved logistics, and eliminates wasted metal deck cutoffs.
2) Light Gauge Steel Trusses (Metal Trusses)
ACS Commercial in conjunction with Fourth Generation Products is an innovator in metal truss design, metal truss fabrication, and delivery of the light gauge steel trusses to the site. ACS Commercial uses commodity cee shapes provided by our own rollformer. We fabricate the trusses in our facilities or on site in a state-of-the-art portable truss jig system. We take a common sense approach to fabricating truss profiles that will transport with the fewest problems. When practical, we assemble on site for rafting the sections on the roof. 3) Metal Roofing Systems
ACS Commerical provides the design/build community with the complete roof package design. We begin with optimum metal truss spacing and spans. We then proceed to the best solution for decking or purlin to meet the requirements of load transfer. We incorporate the necessary rigid insulation and ice/water shield for thermal and moisture protection. Our designs deliver the proper solution for standing seam roof system design from Drexel metals and we finish with eave treatments that address facia and soffit applications.
4) Metal Fabrication Systems
ACS Commercial and Fourth Generation Products have revolutionized Metal Truss Fabrication. Truss fabrication of long span steel trusses typically results in truss profiles that are too tall for transport without special permitting. Some designs will allow for piggyback metal trusses that are field assembled. Another solution is a lightweight, mobile telescoping truss jig assembly method that produces the same truss-to –truss quality found in a plant environment. ACS and FGP have developed and patented such an assembly method. For economy and rapid ramp up this sturdy tubular steel jig will allow fast paced assembly of long and tall trusses to be flown directly from assembly to the roof rafting area or directly to the roof.
5) Aluminum Composite Panel Systems
ACS Commercial working with Fourth Generation Products has developed and patented a high performance aluminum composite panel system that has unequaled aesthetic appearance and a 20 year installed history on architecturally prominent buildings. This wall system is an innovative rain screen design with recognition as such from U.S. government agencies. In addition, our thru-wall integrity program delivers the composite wall system and the light gauge steel substructure as well as the sheathing, insulation, weather barrier and the interior drywall from one source.
6) Aluminum Composite Floor and Wall Systems.
