ACS Commercial and Fourth Generation Products have developed and patented an innovative structural purlin system that mounts to the top chord of light gauge trusses spaced 48”oc, delivering the superior strength and pullout values of a 16 gauge member instead of the traditional 22 gauge metal deck. The purlin system also incorporates an eave girt starter/ terminator that provides for attachment of gutters, facias and soffits, facilitates the use of ice/water shields while eliminating the use of pressure treated lumber as a nailer. This system is fully engineered, offers improved logistics, and eliminates wasted metal deck cutoffs.
